How to Pray the Rosary

 Sign of the Cross

In the name of the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth;
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord,
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into Hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary (3x)
Hail Mary, Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Loreto Litanies
Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy; hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

About CRF

The Children’s Rosary Foundation (CRF) is a family foundation created to spread devotion to the Holy Rosary especially to children. Our mission-vision is expressed in the song Each Home a Little Chapel:

https://youtu.be/70Uwr69SBpY?si=kEmCiEE6-BaKAXlX

Each home a little chapel

Where Jesus Christ is Lord,
Where God Father, Son, and Spirit,
Each moment is adored.
Jesus is the reason
For all that’s done and said,
And every thought, and word, and deed
Is by the Spirit led.

Each home a little chapel
Where every child is blessed,
Where all is for God’s glory
So each one gives his best.
Jesus is the Treasure
Filling every heart,
All are truly family,
Each one does his part.

Each home a little chapel,
Where love forever reigns,
Where every prayer’s with Mary,
The angels and the saints,
Make each home a little chapel,
Help every child to pray,
Guide each one to Jesus,
And on to Heaven someday.

The founder of CRF is Josefina Atienza Salvaña, a mother, educator, public servant, editor, poet, composer, artist and all-around-multi-talented awesome person.

There are five of us siblings lucky to have her as our mom and committed to continue the mission to spread devotion to the Holy Rosary. All for Jesus, through Mary.

A SONG FOR ST. JOSEPH

St. Joseph, be with me,
As I journey home,
Stay right here beside me,
So I won't feel alone.

With Mary, be with me,
When it's time for me to go,
Speak of me to Jesus,
Tell him that I love him so.

Ask him to forgive me, please,
For all the wrong I've done,
He will grant what you ask of him
He ‑ the Perfect Son.

St. Joseph, be with me,
As I journey home,
Stay right here beside me,
So I won't feel alone.

With Mary, be with me,
When my life's breath is gone,
Bring me home to heaven,
When my work on earth is done.

Coda:
Bring me home forever,
When my work on earth is done.

Lyrics below:

REST, MY SOUL

Rest, my soul. Rest, my soul

In the loving heart of Jesus.

There, we find everything we need,

O how much he loves us.

Though the journey may be long,

If we walk with him,

Tired and weary we may be,

We are at rest within.

Repeat all.

Coda:

Rest, my soul.

Rest, my soul.

Rest, my soul.

HEAL US, JESUS

Savior in each moment,

Jesus, Lord and God,

Be with us, we need you,

Help us truly feel your love.

Hurt filled memories of the past

Keep coming into view.

Pains that once had been

Break our hearts anew.

Chorus:

Heal us, Jesus,

You are Savior of us all.

Your love is what we need

To rise and stand tall.

Heal us, Jesus,

Hold us tightly by the hand.

Jesus, Lord and Savior,

With you, we live again!

Ailing bodies need your touch,

Jesus, make us whole,

Grant us healing of body,

Of heart, and mind, and soul.

Repeat Chorus

Coda:

Jesus Lord and Savior

With you, we live again!

BLESSING  May Jesus grant you all the healing that you need, and with his healing love, may you heal others, in his name.

THANK YOU FOR THE HEALING, JESUS

Thank you for the healing, Jesus,

Thank you, truly, Lord.

Hold me closer to your heart,

Help me listen to your Word.

Treasures are awaiting me,

Gifts of your love,

Blessings beyond measure,

Pouring from above.

Thank you for your gift of peace,

Of joy beyond compare,

Thank you for your gift of hope,

Your presence and your care.

Thank you for your gift of life,

And for freedom, too.

Thank you for your Spirit, Lord,

Jesus, I thank you.

(Quiet time for mentioning persons, other gifts, /thank Jesus for).

For all these and more,

Jesus, I thank you.

HEALING WATERS OF BETHESDA

Healing waters of Bethesda,

Giving strength to start anew

To live in Christ , gift of our Father,

His greatest gift to me, to you.

Healing waters of Bethesda,

Soaking, purging, washing clean,

Op'ning hearts and minds to love and life

To behold what before we had not seen.

Chorus: Come, come, my Jesus, touch my heart today,

Give me healing only you can bring,

Come, come, my Jesus, fill my life today,

With your Spirit, let my spirit sing.

Healing waters of Bethesda,

May I heal in Jesus name,

With the newness of my love and life

God's love and power ever more proclaim.

Chorus: Come, come, our Jesus, touch our hearts today,

Give us healing only you can bring,

Come, come, our Jesus, fill our life today,

With your Spirit, let our spirit sing,

Healing waters of Bethesda,

May we heal in Jesus name,

With the newness of our love and life

God's love and power ever more proclaim,

Mommy's reflection song on the Seven Last Words of Jesus

Finally got to make a video of this song, in time for First Friday reflection.

 The lyrics:

1. FATHER, FORGIVE THEM

FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO

Father, forgive them,

They know not what they do.

They don't see, don't realize

When they sin, they hurt you.

They fail, they falter, they break,

They are feeble, they fall,

Father, forgive them,

I will help them heed your call.

I will help each one to love,

Do your will as they ought,

I intercede on their behalf,

Help them live as I taught.

I have taken them as my own,

Paid dearly for their sin,

I saved them, I cherish them,

This is what my mission has been.

Father, forgive them,

See beyond the wrong they do.

I have given my life for them,

May they all be one with you.

Fill them with the Spirit,

So they love as we love.

Let the journey of each one of them,

End with us in heaven above.

May they some day be home forever

All with us in heaven above.

2. TODAY, YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE

Today, you will be with me in Paradise,

I have given my life so you may live.

At the moment that you leave this earth,

A special blessing to you I give.

Have no fear, I am with you,

I am right here by your side.

As you journey home to Our Father,

I am your companion, your guide.

The way is long, now the end is near,

Soon your waiting will be over.

As you go, there is no need to fear,

With my love, your sins I cover.

I have asked Our Father for his mercy,

With love, he has given it to you.

As you breathe your last, as your heart stops to beat,

I am with you, I love you.

I am with you, I love you.

3. WOMAN, BEHOLD YOUR SON

Woman, behold your son,

Son, behold your mother.

I love you both so very much,

I give you each other.

Child, love my mother,

With a very special love,

From all time, she was chosen

To bring you life from above.

She will guide you,

She will mold you,

She will help you be like me.

Pray for you, cherish you,

Help you be the best your meant to be.

She's my mother, how I love her,

Every pain I felt, she felt too.

Make her happy by your love for me

She will help you love as I do.

Child, love my mother, as I do.

4. MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

Why are you so far away from me,

From the sound of my groaning?

I have been yours from birth,

from my mother's womb,

you have been my God

Oh Lord be not far from me

Oh my strength come quickly to my help.

My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?

5. I THIRST

I hear you say I thirst

As you suffer and die for me

You yearn for love I do not give

Your love I fail to receive.

Yours was such a cruel death,

You endured so much pain.

If only to show me I am loved,

They say you would do it all again.

Help me believe, Oh Jesus

Change my cold, uncaring heart,

help me to heal Oh Jesus

Teach me to love.

My heart can never rest

Til it rests in you,

I want to love you, Oh Jesus,

Help me to be true.

I give my heart to you Oh Jesus,

May it be a place of rest for you.

6. IT IS FINISHED.

It is finished.

You bow your head and soon will die.

Your sufferings have been far too much,

I don't know the reason why.

You gave your life,

so we may live.

You taught and healed and loved us

Forgave and helped us to forgive.

It is finished

Your father glorifies his son

For the work you came to do for him

You have so lovingly done.

Through your passion and death

You gave us life

Jesus our Lord and God

May we all rise as you rise.

Jesus our Lord and God

May we all rise as you rise.

7. FATHER, INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMEND MY SPIRIT

Father into your hands,

I commend my spirit

All I did, I did for you

With my heart completely in it.

I did the best I could

to help all know your love.

I promised that with you and me

They have a home in heaven above.

I go now to prepare a place for them,

As I return to your embrace.

When you see each one Oh Father,

I pray you see my face.

Bless them with your choicest blessings,

Love each one as you love me.

I gave my life so they may live,

May your will for each one come to be.

Father into your hands, I commend my Spirit

And each one you have given me.
